The "American Dream"

In English class we learned about the "American Dream". We learned that everyones own definition of the American Dream differs from one another. Different aspects make up ones definition or belief about the meaning of the American Dream. In the American Dream, first written by James Truslow Adams in 1931 he stated that "life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone, with opportunity for each according to ability or achievement". This means that people should peruse their dreams and they should try hard to succeed in what they want. It means that no matter what, theres an opportunity for people to achieve and and opportunity for success.
