The media plays an important role in influencing the American view of dream, reality, war, and violence. The media portrays the American dream as a wonderful thing and in reality it isn't that at all. In fact, the American dream is much different than the American reality. The media portrays war and violence as things that don't have much an effect on the American society but in reality, these two things have a great effect on the way America is run. The media influences Americas view of the American dream by making people believe America is such a good place and has no violence or war, it makes people believe that coming to America could be a great thing and can change things in their life. The reality of America is nothing close to what media portrays it to be.
