My Future

In the future I expect to be living a well off life. I am hoping to have a decent job with a decent amount of pay. In order to do this I will need to do an exceptional job in college so I can get hired by well off businesses. I hope to not look at a minimum wage job as my way to survive in my future, which does occur in the text "Nickel and Dimed" by Barbara Ehrenreich. If i had to survive of a minimum wage job, I know that I would not be able to survive by myself. In the text "Nickel and Dimed" the woman working at the diner does not have enough money for a place of residence so she resides in her car. I realize that if I had to depend off of a minimum income, I too would be living in my car in my future.  To get a job that pays more than very minimum wage I would have to get a decent job and I would have to work very diligently to do so. In my future I would enjoy working in some field of business involving Architecture. When I was younger, my elementary school art teacher had showed me a computer website about Architecture which let you design your own house, it interested me very very much. Ever since then I have looked at Architecture as something that could be a great opportunity for me in my future. By the time I am twenty six I would enjoy having a decent job. I would also be very happy if I could be engaged by the time I am 26, if not married. I know that I want to stay living in Wisconsin and I want to stay in the Milwaukee area and buy an old apartment downtown by the lake and renovate it. I need to start working hard now in high school in order to make my desires for my future come true, I need to realize that every little thing effects my future and i need to do my bests to make it where i want to be in the future.
